Black and More are delighted to support the prestigious Wantima Award for the Best Academic Performance by an Indigenous Student at SBSHS again in 2021.

It was a great day for the local Woree community to come together and “lift each other up” and spead a message of kindness.

We are very excited to announce the recent opening of our new office in Robert Street, Atherton.

The decision to expand our presence into The Tablelands was a logical step in our business due to the high demand of work we have had in the area and a desire to provide even more quality outcomes for our clients.  

The office will be managed by Black & More Director, Greg O’Brien, who says;

“Although we have been doing a lot of work in the region for many years now, having an office in Atherton will enable us to provide an even more personal and hands-on experience for our clients. We are looking forward to providing the region with many more outstanding project outcomes in the years ahead.”

What a great experience for Black & More to be involved in our local community in this way.  An award that we look forward to sponsoring in the years to come.

As part of our 20 year celebration, Black & More have sponsored the  “Wantima Award”  at Sunshine Beach State High School on the Sunshine Coast.   This award acknowledges the best academic performance by an Indigenous student in years 7-10.   This years recipient, Nataley, receives a $250 donation to use towards her studies.  Jared Black presented the award and cheque to Nataley,  alongside the local Indigenous elder Les Muckan.

It was a fantasic night, enjoyed by all…  thanks for representing us Jared!

Who recognises our original logo?

This year Black & More celebrates its 20th Anniversary.  We’re proud to have helped our clients and the community deliver many outcomes over those 20 years.

Over the coming months, we will be sharing with you a few memorable projects and achievements from the last 20 years.  As we look back, we would like to thank you – our clients, team members and supporters for helping us to make a positive impact.  We appreciate your continued support and look forward to the next 20 years!

The last 20 years have been an incredible experience and the next 20 promise to be just as exciting.

Black & More have been excited to be a part of the renewal of the Noosa North Shore Beach Campground. After a $3.2 million face-lift, the popular holiday spot has seen some significant improvements, with a focus on improving water treatment on site.  A total of 43 powered sites are now available along with nearly 50 unpowered camping spots. Defined camp sites are now in place to better manage the camping locations.  The campground will see a new camp kitchen, improved amenities and laundry facilities, along with beach showers, boardwalks and seating areas.

Another great project completed in association with Noosa Council!

Take a look at the stunning Ra-Marie Sinopoli from our Cairns office, who took out the coveted “Best Dressed Female” award at the Melbourne Cup luncheon celebrated by our Cairns staff.  Ra won two nights accommodation at Riley, an Audi hire car for two days, a hamper full of wine and some gorgeous champagne!  

This annual lunch is enjoyed by all of our staff each year and is a great way for the team to get together socially.  Its another way Black & More recognise that our lives outside work are important and we are a company that strives for balance for our team members.
