Description: Black & More were engaged by Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council for the Documentation, Procurement, Construction Phase Services and Defects Liability Period to act as the consulting project manager for the delivery of works after Kowanyama experienced a Tropical Low which resulted in heavy rain events between 14 and 18 March 2016. Due to the heavy rain events, damage was caused to the essential public assets (in this case roads) and was deemed an “eligible” disaster by QRA NDRRA. Works included; • Scoping and road condition (REPA) • Submission Building • Obtaining approved Work Scope • Tender and Procurement • Sourcing replacement material • Construction Management • Reporting to QRA • Acquittal of funding
